A classic example of Sarah Burton-era Alexander McQueen tailoring, this navy double-breasted jacket reflects the house's continued focus on precision construction, British tailoring codes, and a sharp, elegant silhouette. While less overtly theatrical than McQueen's runway pieces, the strength of these pieces lies in the cut: structured shoulders, controlled waist shaping, and refined proportions. Similar McQueen doublebreasted tailoring from this era used premium wool suiting with peak lapels and traditional tailoring details.
