Terms of service

Last updated: July 15, 2026

These Terms of Sale govern all purchases made on this website, operated by Novart Studio, SIRET: 89925366000026; VAT not applicable, (art. 293 B du Code général des impôts). By placing an order, you accept these Terms of Sale in full.

1. Products

We sell fashion archive pieces — brand new, vintage and pre-owned garments and accessories, sold as is. Each item's condition is documented and photographed in detail prior to listing. Buyers are responsible for reviewing this documentation, including any noted wear, repairs, or flaws, before purchasing. Given the nature of archive pieces, each item is unique and may not be restocked once sold.

2. Prices

All prices are displayed in the local currency and are inclusive of applicable taxes unless stated otherwise. As a VAT-exempt micro-entrepreneur, no VAT is added to the displayed price. Shipping costs are calculated separately at checkout based on destination.

We reserve the right to modify prices at any time; the price applicable to an order is the one displayed at the time the order is placed.

3. Order Process

Orders are placed directly through the website. An order is confirmed once payment has been processed and you receive an order confirmation by email. This confirmation constitutes acceptance of your order and formation of the sales contract.

We reserve the right to cancel or refuse any order, notably in the event of a pricing error, unavailability of the item, or a payment dispute.

4. Payment

Payment is due in full at the time of order, via the payment methods made available at checkout (processed through Shopify's payment infrastructure). Title to the item transfers only once payment has been received in full.

5. Delivery

We currently ship to the European Union, United Kingdom, Switzerland, United States, and Canada.

Delivery times and costs are indicated at checkout and vary by destination. Risk of loss or damage passes to the buyer upon delivery of the item to the carrier, except where mandatory consumer protection law provides otherwise.

6. Right of Return

  • EU, UK, and Switzerland: Buyers may cancel their order within 14 days of receipt, as described in our Return & Refund Policy.
  • United States and Canada: All sales are final, except in cases of damage, defect, or misdescribed items, as described in our Return & Refund Policy.

Our Return & Refund Policy forms part of these Terms of Sale.

7. Conformity and Warranty

Notwithstanding the as-is nature of our archive pieces, we remain responsible for ensuring that each item matches its published description and photographed condition. If an item received differs materially from its description (beyond documented flaws) or arrives damaged in transit, please refer to the "Damages, Defects, and Misdescribed Items" section of our Return & Refund Policy.

Nothing in these Terms of Sale excludes or limits any statutory warranty or consumer protection right that cannot be lawfully excluded under applicable law.

8. Liability

Our liability is limited to the price paid for the relevant order. We cannot be held liable for indirect damages, or for delays or failures caused by events beyond our reasonable control (force majeure), including carrier delays.

9. Consumer Mediation

In accordance with French law, if you are a consumer and a dispute arises that we are unable to resolve directly, you may refer the matter free of charge to a consumer mediator:

EU residents may also use the European Commission's Online Dispute Resolution platform: https://ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr.

10. Applicable Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms of Sale are governed by French law. In the event of a dispute, and after attempting mediation where applicable, the competent courts will be those of the place of residence of the consumer, or as otherwise mandated by applicable consumer protection law.
